Politické strany a politický vývoj po roku 1989 na Slovensku/ Political parties and political development in Slovakia in the post-1989 period

Téma sa orientuje na proces formovania politických strán a vývoj ich vplyvu na vnútroštátny politický vývoj a zahraničnú politiku Slovenska. Zámerom je identifikovať, či témy verejného diskurzu nastoľovali tie politické strany, ktoré mali v danom období najvyššiu podporu obyvateľov alebo, naopak, ich určovali tie s menšou voličskou podporou. Ďalším okruhom záujmu je spôsob, ako strany reagovali na verejnú mienku a ako sa profilovali z ideologického hľadiska na vnútro štátnej i medzinárodnej úrovni.

The topic focuses on the process of shaping political parties and the spread of their influence on Slovakia’s national political development and its foreign policy. The aim is to identify whether the topics of public discourse were raised by those political parties that enjoyed the highest backing from the population in a given period or, on the contrary, whether they were determined by those with less electoral support. Another area of interest is the way in which the parties responded to public opinion and how they profiled themselves ideologically at the intra-state and international levels.
